INTRODUCTION
Read through all of the instructions before starting installation.
Notifications and warning texts are for your safety and to
minimise the risk of something breaking during installation.
Ensure that all tools stated in the instructions are available
before starting installation.
Certain steps in the instructions are only presented in the form
of images. Explanatory text is also given for more complicated
steps.
In the event of any problems with the instructions or the
accessory, contact your local Volvo dealer.
Note!
The work is carried out the same way on left and right-hand
drive cars, but mirrored on right-hand drive cars. Left-hand
drive car shown.

Activate (and calibrate) the alcohol lock according to the
description in the Technical Journal in TIE. Relevant journal is TJ
19265 "Alcoguard, calibration and activation Software". It also
contains the necessary software.
After installing the software on the PC according to TJ, connect
the alcohol lock to the PC using the communication cable.
