weight in-line five-cylinder engine,
characterized by excellent per-
formance and torque, good fuel econ-
omy and a remarkable comfort level.
The manufacturing process, based on
extremely high demands for accuracy
and quality to guaranteed engine re-
liability, is particularly cost-effective
since both the five and six cylinder en-
gines were designed and developed as
a modular engine family with a con-
siderable degree of integration.
