Messages When a warning or indicator symbol illumi-
nates, a message appears on the information
display.
– Press the READ button (1).
Switch between messages with the READ
button. Fault messages are stored in the
memory until the fault is rectified.

TIME FOR REGULAR SERVICE Time for regular service at an authorised Volvo workshop. The timing is determined by the number of
kilometres driven, number of months since the last service, engine running time and oil grade.
MAINTENANCE OVERDUE If the service interval is not followed then the warranty does not cover any damaged parts. Contact an
authorised Volvo workshop for service.
CHECK OIL LEVEL Check the oil level. The message is shown every 10 000 km (certain engine variants). For information
