Design and Function

Operating the Slider

Stop the tractor and trailer in a straight line on level
ground.

Lock the trailer brakes.

CAUTION

The trailer must be stopped and the trailer brakes
locked or damage to the tractor and/or trailer may result
from uncontrolled sliding of the fifth wheel.

Release the slide locking plungers by moving the switch
to the “UNLOCK” position.
