Installation of sandpaper
Use only the accessories and attachments
which are specified in the operating instruc-
tions and are compatible with the appliance.
Always remove the battery from the sand-
er before inserting or removing a tool.
The sanding plate is equipped with a Velcro
fastener, for easy replacement of sandpaper.
Clean the sanding surface of the sanding
plate from debris and dust.
Press the sandpaper onto the Velcro surface,
making sure that the holes in the paper align
with the holes in the sanding surface.
Oscillation rate selection
Set the oscillarion rate by turning the selec-
tor for oscillationsetting.
A high speed is recommended for grinding
harder materials, while a lower speed is
suitable for softer materials such as plastic or
plaster.
Use
General instructions for the sander
Applying a larger pressure does not mean an
increased grinding capacity, but only increases
the wear on the machine and the tool.
Fit a suitable sandpaper depending on the ma-
terial to be sanded. Choose a coarse sandpa-
per if a lot of material is to be felled and then
switch to a finer paper.
When sanding, it is recommended that the
dust extractionsystem is used.
Switching on/off
Start the tool by moving the switch so that
the I symbol is visible.
Place the tool against the workpiece.
Lift the tool off the workpiece before turning
the tool off.
To switch off the tool, slide the power switch
back. When the tool is switched off, the 0
symbol is visible.
Maintenance and cleaning

Always switch the appliance off
and remove the battery before
carrying out any work on the
appliance.
The appliance must always be kept clean,
dry and free from oil or grease.
Never allow liquids to get into the appli-
ance.
Clean the power tool’s ventilation openings
regularly.
Use a dry cloth to clean the housing. Never
use petrol, solvents or cleansers which can
damage plastic.
Empty and clean the dust collector
Empty the dust collector regularly.
Turn the dust collector counterclockwise and
pull it outwards to disconnect it from the
sander.
Open the lid of the dust container and empty
the container. Make sure that both the con-
tainer and the lid are completely emptied of
dust.
If necessary, clean the filter located in the lid
by removing it and washing it with water and
a neutral detergent. Make sure the filter is
dry before mounting it back in the cover.
Storage and transportation
For storing or transportation of the device, ob-
serve the following:
a) Switch off the device and remove the
battery.
b) Allow the device to cool down.
c) For storing or transporting the device, use
the transport case included in the scope of
the delivery in order to protect the device
from external influences.
d) Do not store Li-ion battery with are
completely discharged. Storing discharged
battery can lead to a deep discharge and
thus damage the battery.
