Intended use
This product is designed to operate a USB device
with a USB-C
TM
port.
Power is supplied via a standard household mains
socket. The product is protected against overloads
and short circuits.
It is intended for indoor use only. Do not use it out
-
doors. Contact with moisture, e.g. in bathrooms,
must be avoided under all circumstances.
For safety and approval purposes, you must not re
-
build and/or modify this product. If you use the prod
-
uct for purposes other than those described above,
the product may be damaged. In addition, improper
use can result in short circuits, fires, electric shocks
or other hazards.
Read the instructions carefully and store them in
a safe place. Make this product available to third
parties only together with its operating instructions.

a) General information
•
The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of
children and pets.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around
carelessly. This may become dangerous playing
material for children.
•
Protect the appliance from extreme tempera
-
tures, direct sunlight, strong jolts, high humidity,
moisture, flammable gases, steam and solvents.
• Do not place the product under any mechanical
stress.
•
If it is no longer possible to operate the product
safely, take it out of operation and protect it from
any accidental use. Safe operation can no longer
be guaranteed if the product:
- is visibly damaged,
- is no longer working properly,
-
has been stored for extended periods in poor
ambient conditions or
- has been subjected to any serious transport-
related stresses.
•
Please handle the product carefully. Jolts, im
-
pacts or a fall even from a low height can damage
the product.
•
Never leave the product and the connected de
-
vice unattended during use.
•
Always turn off the connected device before con
-
necting and disconnecting the product from the
mains.
•
Unplug the connected USB device from the prod
-
uct when you are not using it.
• The product generates heat during use. Ensure
that there is sufficient ventilation. Do not cover
the product during use.
• The mains socket that the device is plugged into
must be easily accessible.
• Only insert the power adapter into a standard
mains socket that is connected to the public grid.
•
Before plugging in the power adapter, check
whether the voltage stated on the power adapter
complies with the voltage of your electricity sup
-
plier.
•
Never connect or disconnect the power adapter if
your hands are wet.
• Make sure that the cable is not squeezed, bent,
damaged by sharp edges or subjected to me-
chanical stress.
• Always lay the cable so that nobody can trip over
or become entangled in it. This poses a risk of
injury.
•
For safety reasons, disconnect the power adapter
from the mains socket during storms.
•
Do not touch the power adapter if there are any
signs of damage, as this may cause a fatal elec
-
tric shock!
Switch off the mains voltage to the socket to
which the power adapter is connected (switch off
at the corresponding circuit breaker or remove
the safety fuse, and then switch off at the corre
-
sponding RCD protective switch).
You can then unplug the power adapter from the
mains socket. Discontinue use.
•
Never pour any liquids over electrical devices or
place objects filled with liquid next to the product.
If liquid or an object does enter the interior of the
device, power down the respective socket (e.g.
switch off the circuit breaker), and then remove
the mains plug from the mains socket. Discon
-
tinue use.
•
Never use the product immediately after it has
been brought from a cold room into a warm one.
The condensation generated may destroy the
product. There is also a risk of a fatal electric
shock!
Allow the product to reach room temperature be-
fore connecting it and putting it to use. This may
take several hours.
• The mains connection must be near the device.
• Consult an expert when in doubt about the opera-
tion, safety or connection of the appliance.
•
Maintenance, modifications and repairs must
only be completed by a technician or an autho-
rised repair centre.
•
If you have questions which remain unanswered
by these operating instructions, contact our tech-
nical support service or other technical personnel.

NOTICE
Prevent product damage!
Ensure that the specifications of the USB
device you intend to connect match the con-
nection ratings of the power supply.
1.
Turn off the USB device you intend to connect.
2. Connect the USB-C
TM
connector on the cable to the USB-C
TM
port on the USB device.
3.
To provide power, connect the power supply to a mains socket. Turn the connected device on, if needed.
4.
After use, turn the connected USB device off and disconnect it. Unplug the power supply from the mains
socket.
Care and cleaning
•
Disconnect the product from the mains before each cleaning.
• Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions as they can
cause damage to the housing and malfunctioning.
•
Clean the product with a dry, fibre-free cloth.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the household waste.
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product in accordance with applicable regulatory
guidelines.
You thus fulfill your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
