b) Connecting a USB load
• Connect the switched-off USB device to the power supply unit’s USB port.
• Connect the power cord’s low-voltage plug with the matching socket of the power supply unit.
• Connect the mains plug to a standard mains socket. The LED on the top of the power supply
unit indicates operational readiness.
•
Put the power supply unit onto a solid, flame-retardant surface and ensure that the power
supply unit is sufficiently ventilated.
• Now switch the connected USB device on. If it does not function properly, switch it off
immediately and disconnect it from the power supply unit.
• Remove the power supply unit from the mains when it is no longer in use.
Care and cleaning
• Disconnect the power adapter from the mains voltage and from the connected device before
cleaning.
• Never use aggressive detergents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions, as these could
damage the casing or cause the product to malfunction.
• Use a dry, lint-free cloth to clean the product.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in household
waste. Always dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory regulations.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
