OPERATION
Always disconnect the device to be connected before you connect it to the USB
current output.
Make sure that the USB device is suitable for the product rating (see technical
data).
You can load/operate up to four USB devices with the product. How to connect a single USB
device is described below.
1. Insert the USB charger with the cable (5) hanging down into a desk cable entry with the
diameter of 6.35 cm. Bore a appropriate new hole into the table if a cable entry is not
present.
2. Connect the low-voltage plug of the power adapter (7) to the low-voltage socket (6).
3. Connect the power adapter to a common household wall socket.
The LED indicator lamp (3) lights up. The product is now ready for use.
4.
Connect a USB device with the product while switched off.
You can insert excess cable into the cable opening or
newly-bored hole through the opening of the cover (4).
5. Your USB device is now charging. Should you wish to operate the USB device, you may
turn it on now.
6. Guide the cables from the working devices on the desk through the opening in the cover.
To route larger plug connectors, carefully remove the cover and then insert it back into the
product.
If this area is not large enough for the number of cables, the cover can be removed
completely.
7. Turn off the USB device before disconnecting the product from the power outlet.
8. After use, disconnect the power adapter from the mains outlet.
FUNCTION OF THE USB PORTS
• black USB connections (1):
The two USB connections each provide a max. output current of 1 A.
• red USB connections (2):
The two USB connections each provide a max. output current of 2.1 A.
Thanks to intelligent device detection, the USB charger permits rapid-charging of
smartphones or tablets with the maximum charging current.
Make sure that the total current consumption of all devices connected does not
exceed 4 A.
MAINTENANCE AND CARE
• Never use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical
solvents, as those can damage the housing or even affect the operation of the product.
• Besides occasional cleaning, the device is maintenance-free. There are no user-serviceable
parts inside the product. Therefore never open the product.
• Before cleaning, disconnect the product from the mains supply and the connected USB
devices.
• To clean the product, a dry, soft and clean cloth is sufficient. You can easily remove dust
using a long-haired, soft and clean brush.
DISPOSAL
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the
household waste.
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product in accordance with applicable
regulatory guidelines.
You thus fulfill your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
