a) Inserting/replacing the batteries

•  Use the hex key to loosen the screws on the battery compartment cover

(7)

 on the top of

the meter, and then remove the battery compartment cover.

•  Insert the four 1.5 V AAA batteries (included) into the battery compartment, ensuring that

they are inserted in the correct polarity (observe plus/+ and minus/- markings). The polarity

is indicated in the battery compartment. The two batteries on each side must be inserted

in the same polarity.

•  Replace the battery compartment cover and screw it back into place. Ensure that sealing

ring in the battery compartment cover is in the correct position.

•

The batteries must be replaced when the display contrast drops significantly, when the

ring that you remove the old batteries before inserting the new batteries.

 Operating instructions

KBM-80 Combined measuring unit

Item no. 1763396

Intended use

This product is designed to measure the pH value, redox potential (ORP) and temperature of

water and aqueous solutions using replaceable measuring probes. Typical applications include

drinking water, waste water, surface water, swimming pools, fish farms and process chemistry.

The pH value provides information about the content of hydrogen ions in a liquid. The redox

value is measured and displayed in mV. The temperature can be measured in °C and °F. The

measurements provide important information for drinking water treatment, water monitoring

and in industry and laboratories. The product is powered by four 1.5 V AAA batteries.
For safety and approval purposes, do not rebuild and/or modify this product. Using the product

for purposes other than those described above may damage the product. In addition, improper
