• Press the button to select the gain (16). The function indicator (13) should point to the gain control (16)
- Press the button to reduce the range (14) (min. 0.3 m).
- Press the button to increase the range (14) (max. 2 m).
If possible, turn off neighbouring electrical devices, as these may prevent the endoscope finder from
detecting a magnetic field.

Move the endoscope finder around the area of the camera head.
The endoscope finder indicates the signal strength graphically (12) and numerically (15). The graphic display and
the number increases as the endoscope finder moves closer to the camera head.
When the endoscope finder detects a signal, slowly move the endoscope finder until the signal strength reaches
"999".
2. Mark the position with a pen.

Move the endoscope finder horizontally until the signal strength decreases.
4.
Mark the last position where the endoscope finder detects a signal strength of "999".
5. Connect the two horizontal marks and mark the centre point.
6.
Move the endoscope finder vertically and mark the upper and lower positions where the signal strength starts to
decrease.
