Now you can switch ON (-N) and start operating the machine.
Maximum tension on the electronic circuit 29V; engine is protected for over voltage ,
machine does not start.
Over 35V engine could be damaged.
Minimum tension from the battery 8V.
Outside temperature between 0°C and +25°C.
Code 706 Ref. fig. C.4
Before connecting the machine to the battery check the operating switch -N- in the OFF position.
Then proceed as follows:
•
Link the connector positioned at the bottom of the pole -D- to the connector -E- positioned at
the end of the extension cable -S- and screw it.
•
Connect the 2 nippers F of the cable S to the battery 12V: the red one on the positive (+) and
the black one on the negative (-).
•
You can position the head at 3 different angles: 45° - 0° - 30°.
•
To lock the head in the selected position, rotate clockwise the 2 locking levers then pull up the
levers, rotate then counter clockwise positioning them against the bottom of the head.
Now you can switch ON (-N) and start operating the machine.
Use only 12V batteries.
Don’t use the machine with
discharged battery.
Outside temperature between 0°C and +25°C.

USE OF THE PICKING MACHINE
Codes 703-705L-XL Ref. fig. D.1
Energy to the machine is provided by a 12-24V car type battery (65-70Ah is the right capacity) connected
to the electronic box by 1mt two wires cable holding two nippers, red on the positive (+) and black on
the negative (-). The electronic circuit provides several features:
Overvoltage protection of the engine over 15V.
Protection against the automatic re-start of the machine after one occasional stop caused, as an
example, by the detachment of one nipper; when the nipper is connected again the machine does not
start automatically; the operator has to switch OFF-ON the main switch on the head and the machine will
start operating again.
The electronic box shows the various functions of the machine through 5 Leds:
•
ON - green Led: indicates that the electronic circuit is properly connected.
•
MOTOR - yellow Led: indicates that the engine is properly connected to the electronic circuit.
•
SPEED/VELOCITA’
- red Led: indicates which speed has been selected. Pushing once one of the
2 keys 1 or 2 you are selecting the desired speed (key1 = 1150 rpm, key 2 = 1400 rpm).
Pushing twice the same key the machine stops. To restart the machine you have to put the
switch located in the head in the OFF position and, after 5 seconds, put it in the ON position;
the yellow led will light up and the machine will start again. The lighted red led will indicate
the speed that has been selected.
•
ALARM
–
red Led:
o
fixed light means that the battery is off charge.
o
blinking light means that the battery voltage is becoming low.
o
if after charging the battery and having operated ON-OFF the main switch the red
light is still blinking, this requires the technical assistance provided in your territory.
