CLEANING
NOTICE: Do not clean the equipment with steel wool.
NOTICE: Do not immerse the cord, plug or equipment in water or
any other liquid.
NOTICE: Do not use abrasive materials, scratching cleansers or
scouring pads to clean the equipment. These can damage
the finish.
1. Rotate the heat control knob to the lowest setting and move the
power switch to the OFF position.
2. Unplug the equipment.
3. Allow the equipment to cool completely.
4. Wipe the rollers with a clean cloth to remove food debris. Wipe from
the end of the rollers toward the middle.
5. Use a damp cloth or sponge dipped in soapy water to clean the
rollers. Wipe from the end of the rollers toward the middle.
6. Remove, empty and wash the drip tray in hot soapy water.
7. Use a damp cloth or sponge dipped in soapy water, to wipe the
outside of the equipment.
8. To clean the breath guard use a damp cloth, sponge dipped in soapy
water.
NOTICE: Do not use ammonia based cleaners, abrasive
materials, scratching cleansers or scouring pads. These
can damage the finish on the breath guard.
9. Dry all components thoroughly.
10.Place the drip tray into the equipment.

CAUTION
Burn Hazard
Allow equipment to cool before moving or cleaning.
WARNING
Electrical Shock Hazard
Keep water and other liquids from entering the inside of the
equipment. Liquid inside the equipment could cause an
electrical shock. Do not spray water or cleaning products.
Liquid could contact the electrical components and cause a
short circuit or an electrical shock.

Pilot light does not illuminate when
the heat is turned up.
The equipment is not plugged in or
turned on.
Make sure the equipment is plugged in and the power switch is in
the ON position.
A problem with the pilot light, power
switch or heat control.
Contact an authorized service agent to repair the equipment.
The pilot light comes on, but the
equipment does not heat.
A problem with the heating element.
The rollers do not freely rotate.
Food debris between the rollers and the
side panels
Inspect the area between the roller and the side panels. Gently
remove any debris. Contact an authorized service agent if the side
panels need to be opened to remove the debris.
A problem with the motor
Contact an authorized service agent.
A problem with the drive chain
Lubricant has dried up
