• Holes (qty. 5) for securing screws -2- present.
– Follow installation instructions

⇒ page 285

– Screw self-tapping securing screws -2- into pilot-drilled holes.
Specified torque for securing screws -2-: 1.2 Nm
– Mate side member extension -1- with openings on rear via se‐

curing screws -2- until side member extension is in uniform

contact with side member -arrows a-.

– Push side member extension -1- towards rear until it stops

against securing screws -2- -arrows b-

– Press clips -3- into side member extension -1- -arrow c- until

they engage.

– Remove protective backing on top of side member extension

-1- from adhesive strip -4- and press adhesive strip firmly onto

side member.
