This User Guide is intended to provide you with
guidelines to ensure that operation of this product is
safe and does not pose risk to the user. Any use that
does not conform to the guidelines described in this
User Guide may void the limited warranty.
Please read all directions before using the product and
retain this guide for reference.

Any electrical appliance is "live" even when
the power switch is turned off. To reduce the risk of

the cord to hang or lie loose and straight at the

• Use this appliance only for its intended use.
• Never operate this appliance if it has a damaged
cord or plug, if it is not working properly, or if it has
been dropped or damaged, or dropped into water.
Return the appliance to an authorized service
center for examination and repair.
• Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.

• Do not use outdoors or operate where aerosol

is being administered.
• If used near water sources, plug the unit into an

• Unit is hot when in use. Do not let heated surface
touch eyes or skin.
• Do not place the unit directly on any surface while
it is hot.
• Never place the appliance on a soft surface (such
as a bed or couch) when it is operating.
• Do not use an extension cord with this appliance.
• Do not use the appliance near combustible materials.
• Do not clean the appliance with solvents or alcohol.

Operation
Use only on dry hair.
• It is recommended that you wear a heat resistant
glove to protect your hand while using the
curling
iron.
• Plug the appliance into a proper electrical outlet
(100/240V,
50/60Hz).
• Press the power button. The iron will heat in approx.
30 seconds. The red LED light will blink while the
iron heats. The temperature setting will correspond
to the length of time the button is held down.
• Adjust the temperature to High, Medium, or Low by
pressing the power button until the LED light above
the setting lights. When the temperature is selected,
the light will turn green.
• Select the temperature setting best suited for your
hair type and texture:
- For bleached, fragile, damaged, or fine hair, set the
temperature to Low. (You may have to wrap hair
several times to get the desired result.)
- For normal hair, set the temperature to Medium.
If the desired curl does not form after several
passes, increase the temperature to High.
- For coarse, thick, kinky, or resistant hair, set the
temperature to High.
• Auto shutoff: The default setting for automatic
shutoff is 30 minutes, indicated by a blue light.
To deactivate this feature, press the AUTO button
down until the blue light turns off. The feature will
remain off until the iron's next use.
• When not wrapping hair in the iron, set the unit
down on its safety kickstand.
• To turn the iron off, press the power button.
• Allow the iron to cool completely before storing.
Store in a cool, dry location out of the reach
of
children.
To Use
1. Select a 2" – 3" strand of dry hair. Comb to smooth.
You may add a styling product if desired.
2. Clamp the strand of hair near the roots and gently
slide the iron down the hair to the ends. This will
infuse hair with heat and prime it for curling. You
can repeat this step one or two more times.
3. Open the clip. With the end of the curling iron
facing down, place the base of the iron near the hair
roots and close the clip. Wrap hair from root to tip
around the barrel. Wrap hair in a downward direction.
