7.7.1 Disassembly
1.- Remove the coupling core protector.
2.- Uncouple the pump from the motor, as indicated:
a. Coupling with spacer. Loosen the coupling connecting bolts and remove the coupling (flexible part).
b. Coupling without spacer. Loosen the coupling connecting bolts of the coupling and remove the coupling (flexible part).
Loosen the motor fixing bolts, and remove the motor backwards.
3.- If the pump needs to be repaired, loosen the union body union nuts and those of the rear support leg and remove the
"Torpedo", i.e. assembly: shaft - impeller - union body - bearing body - core mass.
7.7.2 Mounting
1.- Assemble the "torpedo", i.e. assembly: shaft - impeller - union body - bearing body - core mass (if it
has been disassembled), and tighten the fixing nuts of the pump body - union body.
2.- Couple the pump to the motor, as indicated:
2.1.- COUPLING WITH SPACER. Mount the core masses (pump and motor, if they have been removed)
and fix them with the screws.
2.2.- COUPLING WITHOUT SPACER. Mount the core masses (pump and motor, if removed) and fix them
with the screws. Put the motor in place.
3.- Align the equipment, ensuring angular and parallel alignment.
4.- Fix bolts of the motor to the base and of the bearing body support leg to the base.
5.- Mount the flexible part of the coupling core and fix it with its bolts.
6.- Assemble the coupling pin protector.
