Getting Connected
System Connection
1. Connect the AC POWER ADAPTER to the UHF-5805 receiver’s POWER INPUT connector, then plug the
ADAPTER into a compatible AC electrical outlet.
2. Connect the UHF-5805’s receiver to a sound system, mixer or amplifier’s microphone input(s) with either
one ¼” output jack for a mixed channel output, or up to four XLR output jacks for separate output for
each mic.
Deciding Between Mixed or Separate Output
Mixed Channel Output
Pro: Uses only 1 mic input on an external mixer/amplifier.
Con: External mic adjustments are only applied to one mic channel.
Separate Channel Output
Pro: External mic adjustments can be applied on one or both mic channels.
Con: Uses up up to 4 mic inputs on mixer/amplifer.
Antenna Connection
Insert the antenna’s TNC connector into the TNC jack and twist clockwise until it is firmly secured.
