System Setup Menu

1.

OP MODE

There are two operating modes for the Dolby Digital decoder: LINE OUT and RF REMOD.

LINE OUT – Select for standard line-level output

RF REMOD – Select for an increase in the output level

2.

DYNAMIC RANGE

The dynamic range setting is used to control the variance in loudness within an audio track. When set to OFF,

maximum range in volume will be allowed. When set to high compression, the volume will be compressed for

little dynamic range (Good for late night viewing.)

OFF: No Compression

2/8: Low compression

4/8: Medium compression for general use

6/8: High compression for quieter (late night) use

FULL: Full-volume cinematic sound

3.

DUAL MONO

STEREO OUTPUT: Outputs audio in stereo

L-MONO: Only plays the LEFT channel on both sides

R-MONO: Only plays the RIGHT channel on both sides

MIX-MONO: Plays the LEFT and RIGHT MONO audio on the LEFT and RIGHT speakers
