Functions and Descriptions
Please note, in this manual we will be referring to channels A, B, C, and D for the controls, but your receiver may have
channels EFGH, IJKL, or MNOP.
Receiver Front Panel
1. Channel A and B volume knob:
Turn clockwise to power on the receiver and increase the gain for mic A and mic B.
2. Channel A and B balance knob:
When this knob is in the center position, the relative volume for channel A and B
will be equal. Turn counterclockwise to increase channel A volume and decrease channel B volume. Turn clockwise to
increase channel B volume and decrease channel A volume.
3. Channel C and D volume knob:
Turn clockwise to power on the receiver and increase the gain for mic C and mic D.
4. Channel C and D balance knob:
When this knob is in the center position, the relative volume for channel C and D
will be equal. Turn counterclockwise to increase channel C volume and decrease channel D volume. Turn clockwise to
increase channel D volume and decrease channel C volume.
5. Power LED:
This will light up when channel A and B or channel C and D are turned on, or when the receiver is
plugged in to a power source.
6. Channel A-D AF/RF LED:
These will light up red when the corresponding microphone is turned on, showing that
the mic is connected to the receiver. These will flash green whenever you speak into the mic, showing the receiver is
receiving an audio signal from the mic.
7. Channel A and B Stereo/Mono switch:
Putting this switch in the Mono position will cause mic A audio and mic B
audio to come out of both Mic Out A and Mic Out B on the back panel. Putting this switch in the Stereo position will
cause the mic audio to only come out of it’s respective Mic Out on the back panel.
8. Channel C and D Stereo/Mono switch:
Putting this switch in the Mono position will cause mic C audio and mic D
audio to come out of both Mic Out C and Mic Out D on the back panel. Putting this switch in the Stereo position will
cause the mic audio to only come out of it’s respective Mic Out on the back panel.
9. Mixed Mic Out:
This ⅛ inch ouput will have all four mic audio signals, for easily connecting into a camera or
recorder.
