3.) After selecting the desired temperature setting, Caps Warmer needs approx.
15 - 20 minutes to heat up.
4.) After warming the Caps (approx. 3 minutes), apply the material within 30 seconds.
5.) The Caps Warmer is intended for brief warming of Caps immediately prior to
application. Longer warming beyond the treatment period may damage the mate
rial and should therefore be avoided.
6.) To switch off the device, hold down the operating button for 2 seconds. The
device automatically switches off after 10 hours if it is not used.
4. Safety precautions and maintenance / disinfection
1.) Safety precautions
Warning: Caps Warmer becomes hot during operation. Do not touch any hot
surfaces. The Caps tray has plastic rings for handling. If the tray is removed,
the base should be switched off (hold down operating button for 2 seconds) so
that the cover plate cools down.
2.) Maintenance / disinfection
a) A plastic spatula should always be used to remove composite to avoid
scratching the non-stick surface.
b) Disinfection of Caps tray: The Caps tray is autoclavable, or can be wiped with
a cloth and disinfectant.
c) Disinfection of base: The base is not autoclavable. A cloth lightly moistened
with disinfectant should be used to clean the plastic housing after it has cooled
and while it is disconnected from the mains. Do not spray!
