Installation
Once you have completed the above preparations, attach the plastic adapter to the air outlet of the hood,
insert it into the cabinet and screw the hood into the cabinet. Then create the air connection within the
cabinet for its discharge from the cabinet. If you have removed the cabinet from the wall for assembly, it
must now be hung up again. Then connect the hood to the power supply.
Dissipation of the exiting air flow
The air discharged from the hood must be expelled outside the cabinet, regardless of whether it is used
in
recirculation or exhaust mode. In this respect, it is necessary to introduce an exhaust air opening in
the
cabinet ceiling at the same point as the air outlet of the extractor hood. Through this, either the
exhaust
air hose is routed to the wall outlet or, in recirculation mode, a pipe or hose connection is created
that
blows the air out of the cabinet. One end of the pipe or hose is to be connected to the hood on the
exhaust
air socket, the other from the cabinet and if necessary through an opening in the wall. If, after
the hood
has been installed, access to the room above is no longer possible, the air duct must be
prepared before
the hood is installed and connected to the hood. The same applies to the power supply.
EXTRACTOR HOOD OPERATION
•
The
SLIDE
extractor hood has 4 ventilation speeds. Depending on the amount of steam and haze when
cooking, you can choose a low, medium or high ventilation level.
•
Switch the extractor hood on in the desired mode before cooking. It is recommended to continue the
work of the extractor hood for 3-5 minutes after cooking so that the air in the kitchen is freed of
evaporation residues and odors.
•
The control takes place via a 4-stage sensor control in the glass front of the extractor hood.
•
Keys 1, 2, 3 and 4 switch the motor on in the corresponding power level. Touching the set power level
again switches the motor off again.
•
The field on the far left switches the LED lighting on and off again.
Turbo mode:
When the hood is switched on at the 4th speed, the hood automatically switches to the 3rd speed
after 5 minutes of operation.
Timer / automatic overrun:
The extractor hood has an automatic overrun (5 min) that can be switched on. To
activate this, press and hold the desired power level for 5 seconds. The timer is then activated and
automatically switches off the motor and the lighting after 5 minutes.
Control via remote control (optional):
•
To switch on the hood, press button 1, 4 or 5. To switch off the hood,
press button 1.
•
To increase or decrease the operating speed, press the button 5 or 4.
•
Press button 2 to switch the light on or off.
•
To activate the timer, press button 6 with the hood switched on.
•
To switch off the timer, press the button 6.
