PIN (Personal Identification Number)
Security code that protects the phone
against unauthorized use.
The PIN is supplied by the service provider
with the SIM card. It may be a four to eight-
digit number and can be changed, as
required.
OTHER FUNCTIONS
PUK (PIN Unblocking Key)
Security code used to unlock the phone
when an incorrect PIN has been entered
three times in succession. The eight-digit
number is supplied by the service provider
with the SIM card.

Use of your phone when you are outside
your home area (when traveling for
example).
SIM (Subscriber Identification Module)
A card containing an integrated circuit. The
circuit contains the information about the
phone operation.
SMS (Short Message Service)
A network service sending and receiving
messages to and from other persons
without the need to call.
The incoming messages immediately appear
on the display, and you can edit, receive
and send the messages.
