1.
If the existing grommeted cable openings will not be used, create new openings by removing
knockouts on the environmental enclosure. Install liquid-tight fittings as per local requirements
and codes.
2.
Uncoil the solar panel cable (red tape and zip ties) and feed it through the appropriate opening
of the environmental enclosure
3.
Connect the red wire of the solar panel cable to the (+) side of the solar panel
4.
Connect the black wire of the solar panel cable to the (-) side of the solar panel
5.
Uncoil the 12VDC lock/latch cable (yellow tape and zip ties) and feed it throug the appropriate
opening of the environmental enclosure
6.
Connect the red wire of the 12VDC lock/latch cable to the (+) side of the lock/latch
7.
Connect the black wire of the 12VDC lock/latch cable to the (-) side of the lock/latch
