DOORSTATION FIRMWARE UPDATE
Important
For firmware update follow the below procedure step by step
ORDER OF OPERATION
The doorstation provides for the option of firmware update on site
This procedure will require the connection unit
connected to the doorstation and a PC, and the application
program
The application
is available for download on the connection unit
CU-14 web page at the following Internet resources VIZIT:
www. vizit.eu (see the section ‘Products’)
After firmware update MASTER-keys, PIN-code and service personnel password memorized earlier in the
doorstation do not change, they remain the same.
Switch the Control Unit’s power off
Disconnect TX and RX wires from the Control Unit, and connect them to TX and RX terminals of the
connection unit respectively.
Connect PRG wire to GND terminal of the Control Unit.
Connect GND terminals of the connection unit and Control Unit together.
Switch the Control Unit on
Connect the connection unit to a PC with a USB cable
Run the application
Update the doorstation firmware following the instruction on the application
Switch the Control Unit’s power off
Disconnect the connection unit, connect TX and RX wires back to the Control Unit’s TX and RX terminals
respectively, and disconnect PRG wire from the GND terminal of the Control Unit.
