Forceful Password Configuration

15. The first time you log in to the camera, the firmware will prompt for a password 

configuration for security concerns. Protecting your camera with a password can deter 

the majority of cyber attacks. 

15-1. Enter the combination of alphabetic and numeric characters to fulfill the password 

strength. requirement. The default name for the camera administrator is “root”, and can 

not be changed.

Some, but not all special ASCII characters are supported: !, $, %, -, ., @, ^, _, and ~. 

You can use them in the password combination.
