6
Once the frames have been emptied on one side, remove the
frames, turn the frames around, and place them back in the
extractor. Repeat step 2, then remove the frames from the
extractor.
STEP 4
With the drain positioned over a bucket or other container, open
the honey gate to begin draining honey. Tip the extractor forward
to drain as much honey as possible.
STEP 5
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
With the control dial set to “0” and power switch set to off (O),
plug the power cord into a standard AC wall outlet.
STEP 1
STEP 2
Place honey frames in extractor basket. Load two sides to keep
extractor balanced as this will reduce any possible shaking.
STEP 3
Close both lids to engage safety switches. Flip the power switch
to the on (I) position, and turn the dial until the basket is spinning
at the desired speed. The front lid has a built in safety switch that
will cut power the moment it is opened, and power will not be
restored until lid is closed. Turn the dial back to “0” when frames
have been emptied and remove the frames from the extractor.
DISASSEMBLY
To disassemble the extractor, remove the four cap nuts on the top of the extractor
(two on each side), then pull the top brace up and off. The basket can then be lifted
out.
A steel ball bearing rests below the basket shaft to improve rotation. Set this aside in
a safe place (such as a cup) so it does not roll away and become lost.
