Gooseneck and power supply installation

Insert gooseneck microphone into microphone base socket. Connect power supply plug to “DC IN” soc-
ket on the rear.
Operating instructions
MAKE A CALL
Pushing call button (see pic next page), microphone base will play Chime tone and then it will activate
the microphone. Call button must be keeping pushed during the communication period.
With “MIC” trimmer you can adjust microphone volume.
LINE IN
An external stereo source can be connected to the “LINE IN” input, and BM1000D will play music pro-
gram. External source audio is muted when you make a call. It is possible to adjust external source vo-
lume, using “LINE” trimmer on the back of the microphone base.
CHIME
BM1000D has a built-in chime player. Using USB port it is possible to change chime tone file as desired.
Copy your chime tone file in the internal memory and rename it as “00001” for pre call chime and
“00003” for post call chime. If post chime is not necessary, please erase “0003” file.
On the back of the microphone base you can adjust chime volume acting on “CHIME” trimmer.
ACTIVE CONTACT
“ACTIVE” is a dry, normally open, contact that closes when you make a call pushing “CALL” button.
It is closed during all communication period. When “CALL” button is released, ACTIVE contact goes in
rest mode.
