0°- Vertical cut;
45° - Cut at half miter (left and right);
6. Tighten the supporting base fixing
screw and assemble the remaining
parts in the reverse order of
disassembly;
4.3 - JIG SAW’S START
AND STOP (FIG. H)
1. Put the supporting base (13) over the
work piece;
2. Press the locking/unlocking button
(8) and the “ON/OFF” switch (7) at
the same time;
If the locking/unlocking button isn’t
pressed, the “ON/OFF” switch remains
locked;
3. Let the blade reach its maximum
speed. After that, direct the blade
towards the cut to be performed;
4. Apply a slight pressure over the jig
saw towards the work piece to avoid
vibrations or blade break;
5. Guide slowly the jig saw so the blade
can move along the cutting line drawn
on the work piece until finishing the cut;
6. To turn the jig saw off, release the
“ON/OFF” button;
4.4 - SPEED REGULATION
(FIG. I)
1. The rotation speed can be adjusted
through the “ON/OFF” switch (7).
The blade speed increases as the “ON/
OFF” switch is pressed. When the
switch is completely pressed, the blade
reaches its maximum speed.
4.5 - BLADE PENDULUM
MOVEMENT REGULATION
(FIG. J)
The regulation of the blade pendulum
movement is controlled in the
pendulum movement selector (6) for
the 4 different positions (0, 1, 2 e 3).
 Position 0 – no pendulum movement:
- Cuts in hard materials (ceramics or
steel) and thin pieces (steel plate);
- Cuts in sharp edges;
 Position 1 – minor pendulum
movement:
- Cuts in medium hard materials (for ex.
hard wood or plastic);
 Positions 2/3 - medium/intense
pendulum movement:
- Soft materials (wood and plastic);
- Cuts in the direction of the fibres;
The best combination between the
blade speed and the pendulum
movement depends on the material. To
determinate the ideal adjustment make
a test cut on a piece of waste.
4.6 - PLUNGE CUTTING
THROUGH THE WORK PIECE
(FIG. K)
Plunge cutting is useful and time-saving
for making rough openings in soft
materials. It makes it unnecessary to
drill a hole for an inside or pocket cut.
To make a plunge cutting, the following
steps must be followed:
1. Make a hole on the exact point you
want to initiate the cutting operation,
wide enough to insert the blade (2);
2. Insert the blade on the hole;
3. Turn the jig saw on and start cutting
following the instructions on “Jig saw’s
start and stop”;
5. MAINTENANCE
AND CLEANING
INSTRUCTIONS
Before inspection, maintenance and
cleaning works, turn the equipment off
and remove the battery.
This equipment doesn’t need additional
lubrication or maintenance. However,
it needs a proper maintenance
and a regular cleaning to operate
continuously with no issues.
Keep the blades clean and sharpened.
The blades object of a proper
maintenance don’t stuck so often, are
easily controlled and are more efficient.
Keep the supporting base clean to
ensure cutting accuracy.
5.1 - CLEANING AND STORAGE
Cleaning
After each use clean all the
components. Clean the machine with a
clean and damp cloth and blow it with
low pressure compressed air. A careful
handling protects the machine and
extends its lifespan.
This machine and its ventilation
openings must always be clean. Clean
it regularly or every time they get
obstructed.
Storage
Every time the machine isn’t being
used, store it inside dry, clean and
corrosive steam free places away from
children’s reach. Remove the battery
when storing the tool.
6. PROTECTION OF THE
ENVIRONMENT
The packaging is made up of
recyclable materials, which
you can dispose on local recycling
points.
Never place power tools in
the domestic waste!
According to the European Directive
2012/19 /EC on electrical and
electronic equipment waste and its
transposition into national law, power
tools must be collected separately
