Solution
The engine does not start:
•
There's no fuel in the tank;
•
The fuel in the tank is of poor quality, has water, is
dirty or is already old;
•
The carburetor lever is not in the start position;
•
The air filter is dirty;
•
The engine oil level is too low;
•
The spark plug is loose;
•
The cap is not attached to the spark plug;
•
The spark plug is damaged;
•
Fill the tank with fuel;
•
Use new fuel;
•
Put the carburetor lever in the start position;
•
Clean/replace the air filter;
•
Top up oil to the appropriate level;
•
Screw the spark plug;
•
Fit the cap into the spark plug;
•
Replace spark plug;
Starting difficulties or reduced engine power:
•
The grass is very large;
•
The fuel tank is dirty;
•
The air filter is dirty;
•
Mow the lawn before using the scarifier;
•
Clean the fuel tank;
•
Clean/replace the air filter;
Unusual noises and vibrations:
•
Loose bolts or parts;
•
Shaft bolts are not tightened properly;
•
Check and tighten bolts;
•
Tighten shaft bolts;
