The blower/vacuum can be used to blow waste from patios,
paths, pavements, lawns, shrubs and to vacuum up leaves,
small twigs and wood chips.
While operating the blower/vacuum in suction mode, debris
are drawn in through the suction tube and passed through
the internal shredding fan where they are partially
shredded before being stored in the collection bag.
Shredded organic debris are ideal for use as mulch around
plants.
When using the blower, you must observe some
precautions and procedures of use to avoid accidents and
damage to the appliance, and to increase its efficiency:
▪
Avoid vacuuming wet materials. Otherwise, the internal
shredding fan may get blocked, and the performance of
the blower/vacuum may decrease;
▪
Never vacuum/blow on hard objects such as stones,
bottles, cans or pieces of metal. Such objects may
damage the internal fan and cause injury to the user;
▪
To avoid motor damage due to overspeed, do not block
the inlet of the end suction/blowing tube;
▪
Always hold the blower/vacuum with both hands;
▪
Do not use it in areas where there is dust harmful to
health;
▪
Use rakes and brooms to clear away debris before
blowing.
The machine has 2 functions. It can be used as a vacuum
cleaner or blower.
Suction function
1.
Set the operating mode selection lever (11) to the
horizontal position.
Blowing function
1.
Set the operating mode selection lever to the vertical
position.
Before changing the operating mode to suction,
make sure the collection bag is properly fitted.
1. Press the "ON/OFF" switch (10) to switch on the
blower/vacuum;
2. To stop the blower/vacuum, release the "ON/OFF" switch.
1. Check that the collection bag (13) is properly installed;
2. Set the operating mode selection lever (11) to the
horizontal or vertical position according to the type of
work you want to perform;
3. Hold the appliance with both hands;
4. Move the blower/vacuum in a way that is appropriate for
the work to be done;
5. Keep the end suction/blowing tube (2) 5-10 cm from the
floor during vacuuming.
Always ensure that the appliance is switched off and the
power cord is unplugged before emptying the collection
bag.
A full collection bag decreases suction capacity. Therefore,
you should remove and empty the collection bag when it is
full or interferes with suction power.
1. Remove the collection bag holder (12);
2. Unzip the collection bag (14);
3. Empty the bag. Shake it to remove dust and other debris;
4. Zip the bag and put it back in the blower/blower.
Wear a dust mask and protective goggles when
emptying the collection bag.
