Make sure the pump is stable and positioned so that the
suction base is not completely or partially blocked. It
should always be free of mud or other dirt.
If the level and water is too low, mud can harden quickly
and prevent the pump from starting. To ensure the
pump operates without a hitch, place the pump on top
of a concrete block or similar.
To submerge, lift or secure the pump, use a rope
attached to the support handle (5).
Water Outlet Hose Installation Instructions
1. Screw the bushing connector onto the pump's water
outlet;
2. Screw the hose adaptor (4) onto the bushing
connector;
3. Connect the hose to the adaptor;
The adaptor allows you to connect hoses with
diameters of 36mm (1 13/32”), and 25mm (1”).
The hoses are attached to the adaptor through the slots,
according
to
their
diameters.
However,
we
recommended that 36mm (1 13/32”) and 25mm (1”)
hoses are attached with an additional clamp.
The best results can be achieved when a 36mm (1
13/32”) hose is used.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Submersible pumps are designed for personal use, in
your home or garden. Pumps are used to drain flood
water, transfer liquids, drain containers, draw water
from wells and mines or drain boats and yachts for a
limited period of time.
These pumps are fully submersible. They can be
submerged to the depth specified in the technical
specifications.
Once you have read the installation and assembly
instructions, you can start your new pump. Do so by
following these instructions carefully:
▪
Ensure that the pump is resting on the bottom of the
surface it will apply suction to;
▪
Ensure that the water outlet hose is properly
connected;
▪
Ensure that the mains voltage your pump is attached
to is 230 V / 50 Hz;
▪
Ensure that the electrical outlet is not damaged in
any way;
▪
Ensure that no moisture or water can reach the
electrical connection;
▪
Avoid running the pump dry;
Adjusting the Switch point (on/off)
1. The pump's switch point (on/off) may be adjusted by
changing the position of the cable (3) in the way that the
float switch cable clip is attached (2);
Before you operate the pump, follow these instructions
carefully:
▪
The float switch (1) must be adjusted to allow it to
rise and fall freely according to fluctuations in the
level of liquid;
▪
The distance between the float switch and where the
cable is attached (2) should not be too short. If the
float switch and cable are positioned too close
together, the pump may not work properly;
▪
When adjusting the position of these two items,
ensure that the float switch does not touch the
bottom before the pump shuts off. If this happens,
the pump runs the risk of running dry;
