Attention! Do not use the unit near bath tubs,
kitchen sinks or other containers filled with
water.
– Open the lid (3) by pressing the button (4).
– Wash all the removable parts – the bowl (9),
the steam cooking basket (10), the ladle (12)
and the measuring cup (11) – with a soft
sponge with neutral detergent, then rinse
under running water and dry.
– Clean the unit body (1) with a damp cloth,
then wipe it dry.
USING THE MULTI COOKER
Attention!
•
Never leave the operating unit unat-
tended.
•
During the first operation of the multi
cooker, some foreign smell from the heat-
ing element can appear. It is normal.
•
Before you start cooking make sure that
the multi cooker lid is closed tightly.
•
To avoid burns be very careful when open-
ing the lid (3), do not bend over the steam
release openings (6) during unit operation
and do not place open parts of your body
above the bowl (9)!
•
Watch the food readiness during cooking,
if necessary, stir the food with the plastic
ladle (12). Do not use metal objects that
can scratch the non-stick coating of the
bowl (9).
•
Do not leave the plastic ladle (12) in the
bowl.
Put the food into the bowl (9) following the rec-
ommendations given in the recipe (see «Recipe
book»).
Note: Make sure that the level of ingredients
and liquids does not exceed the maximal mark
«8» and is not lower than the minimal mark «4».
General example of loading products and
water (rice is considered as example)
Measure rice with the measuring cup (11)
(one measuring cup is equal to approximately
160 grams of rice), wash it and place in the
bowl (9). The level of water needed for a certain
amount of rice (measured in cups) is indicated on
the scale inside the bowl (9). Pour water up to the
corresponding mark.
Example: Put four measuring cups of rice, pour
water up to the graduating mark «4». For liq-
uid porridges it is recommended to mix rice and
water in the proportion 1:3.
Place the bowl (9) in the process chamber of the
unit. Make sure that the outer surface of the bowl
is clean and dry, and the bowl itself is installed
evenly and is in tight contact with the surface of
the heating element.
Notes:
– do not use the bowl (9) for washing cereals
and do not chop products in it, this can dam-
age the non-stick coating.
– make sure that there are no foreign objects,
dirt or moisture in the process chamber and
on the bottom of the bowl (9),
– wipe the outer surface and the bottom of the
bowl (9) dry before use.
– there is a temperature sensor n the middle of
the heating element. Make sure that nothing
prevents the sensor’s free movement.
•
if you steam products, pour water into
the bowl (9) so that boiling water doesn’t
reach the bottom of the basket (10). Put the
food into the basket (10) and place it in the
bowl (9).
•
Close the lid (3) until clicking.
•
Insert the power cord connector into the con-
nector socket (8) and the power cord plug
into the mains socket.
MULTI COOKER MAIN FUNCTIONS
Switching the multi cooker on (standby mode)
– After connecting the multi cooker to the mains
you will hear a short sound signal.
– Switch the multi cooker on by pressing the
button (14), the « - - - - » symbols will appear
on the display (13).
– The unit is switched to the standby mode and
is ready for use.
Note: every pressing of the buttons is accompa-
nied by a short sound signal.
Selecting and starting the cooking program
– To select a cooking program, press the button
(15) «MENU» in the standby mode.
– The cooking programs are selected in the fol-
lowing order: “Porridge”, “Pilaf”, “Steam cook-
ing”, “Roasting”, “Stewing”, “Baking”, “Soup”,
“Rice”, the cooking mode indicators will light
up sequentially on the control panel (2).
– The default cooking time digital indications
will appear flashing on the display (13).
– After you select the desired cooking program
and set the cooking time, the display (13)
will show flashing cooking time symbols for
10 seconds.
– After 10 seconds the cooking program will
switch on, the digital cooking time indications
will glow constantly, and the countdown of the
time remaining to the end of the cooking pro-
gram will start (see the table “Cooking pro-
grams and their duration”).
