SAFETY MEASURES
Before using the radio, read this
instruction manual carefully and
keep it for future reference.
Use the unit for intended pur-
poses only, as specified in this
manual.
Mishandling of the unit may lead
to its breakage and cause harm
to the user or damage to his/her
property.

Before connecting the radio to
the mains check whether your
home mains voltage corre-
sponds to the voltage specified
on the device housing.
•
To avoid the risk of fire or elec-
tric shock, do not expose the
unit to rain or moisture.
•
Do not immerse the power cord,
the power plug or the radio itself
into water or other liquids.
•
To prevent fire or electric shock
hazard do not place and do not
use the radio in places with high
humidity (near bath tubs, kitch-
en sinks, near a swimming pool,
in wet basements, etc.)
•
Place the radio in such a way
that you can immediately pull
out the plug from the socket in
case of any malfunction.
•
For protection of the radio dur-
ing power surges, lightning
storms and in cases when you
are not going to use it for a long
time, unplug the unit.
•
Never pull the power cord when
disconnecting the radio from
the mains, take the power plug
and carefully remove it from the
mains socket.
•
When the radio is battery pow-
ered and you are not using it for
a long time, remove the batter-
ies from the battery compart-
ment.
•
For children safety reasons
do not leave polyethylene
bags, used as packaging,
unattended.
