ENGLISH
- Remove the juice collector (5) together with
the filter-grater (4).
- Clean and wash all used parts right after
completion of work.
Hints
Use only fresh fruit and vegetables, as they con-
tain more juice.
For making up of juice, one can use differ-
•
ent vegetables (carrot, cucumbers, celery
stems, spinach, tomatoes) or fruit (apples,
grapes, pine-apples).
It is not necessary to peel off thin skin, only
•
thick skin should be peeled off (e.g. from
pine-apples or beet).
During squeezing of apple juice keep in mind
•
that strength of juice depends on the type of
apples used.
Choose such type of apples, which gives the
•
juice suitable to your taste. Squeeze juice
from fruit without skin peeling off. It is not
necessary to cut out the center of fruit.
Apple juice gets dark soon, add several drops
•
of lemon juice in it – this will freeze the pro-
cess of darkening.
Drink juice right after squeezing it. In case of
•
a long storage in the open air, juice loses its
taste and nutritive value.
If juice is stored in a fridge, pour it in clean
•
bottle with cover, for it does not absorb foreign
smells from products stored in the fridge. It is
not advisable to store juice in metal vessel, as
juice may acquire a corresponding taste.
It is not advisable to use the juice extrac-
•
tor for treating of fruit with a high content of
starch or pectin, such as bananas, papaya,
avocado, fig, apricots, mango, red and black
currant. For treating of these fruit use other
kitchen appliances.
The juice extractor is not designed for treat-
•
ment of very hard and fibrous products, such
as coconut, rhubarb, or quince.
Cleaning of the juice extractor
After completion of operation or before clean-
•
ing, always switch the device off and discon-
nect it from electrical mains.
It is recommended to wash detachable parts
•
in warm water with neutral cleansing agents
right after completion of the device opera-
tion.
Holes of the filter-grater (4) are easier to wash
•
from reverse side. Be careful when washing
the filter-grater, the grater has a sharp sur-
face. Do not use dish-washer for washing of
the filter-grater.
Wipe the motor module of the juice extrac-
•
tor (8) with a wet cloth. It is not allowed to put
the motor module into water or wash it under
water jet.
Do not use hard sponges, abrasive, aggres-
•
sive cleaning agents, and solvents.
Some products – e.g., carrot, tomatoes and
•
beet – may paint plastic parts of the juice
extractor. Remove the stains with a dry cloth
wetted in vegetable oil, after which proce-
dure wash the parts in warm water with a soft
cleansing agent and dry.
STORAGE
Before removing the device for storage, make
•
sure that is it disconnected from mains.
Fulfill the requirements of the section “Clean-
•
ing of the juice extractor”.
Store the device in a dry cool and inacces-
•
sible for children place.
