BEFORE USING THE UNIT FOR THE FIRST
TIME
After unit transportation or storage under
cold (winter) conditions, it is necessary to
keep it for at least 3 hours at room tempera-
ture before switching on.
Before making coffee perform the boiling cycle,
using water only, without adding ground coffee
into the filter.
–
Unpack the coffee maker; remove any stick-
ers that can prevent unit operation.
–
Make sure that operating voltage of the cof-
fee maker corresponds to the voltage of your
mains.
–
Open the lid (4) and remove the filter holder
(2) and the nylon filter (3).
–
Wash all removable parts in warm water with a
neutral detergent: the coffee flask (1), the fil-
ter holder (2), the nylon filter (3) and the mea-
suring spoon (9). Then rinse them and dry.
Note: The filter holder (2) has two ledges and the
nylon filter (3) is equipped with a folding handle
for easy removing.
–
Install the filter holder (2) in its place.
–
Insert the nylon filter (3) into the holder (2).
–
Fill about one half of the coffee flask (1) with
pure water.
–
Pour the water from the flask (1) to the water
tank (5).
–
Close the lid (4) and put the flask (1) on the
tray (7).
–
Insert the plug into the mains socket; switch
the coffee maker on, setting the switch (8)
to the «I» position, the power indicator in the
switch will light up.
–
When the water tank (5) is empty, switch the
coffee maker off by setting the power switch
(8) to the «0» position.
–
Let the unit cool down for 5 minutes and pour
the water out from the flask (1).
MAKING COFFEE
Ready coffee is made by single passing of hot
water through the layer of ground coffee in the
filter (3). The taste of the ready drink depends on
the quality of the raw product, therefore we rec-
ommend using well fried and fresh-ground cof-
fee beans.

Open the lid (4).
–
Insert the filter (3) into the holder (2).
–
Measure the required amount of ground coffee
with the measuring spoon (9) and put it into the
filter (3). On average, 6 grams of ground cof-
fee are required per one coffee cup; adjust the
quantity according to your taste.
–
Fill the water tank (5) with cold water up to the
required level. Determine the water level using
the graduated scale (6) marked in cups.
–
Close the lid (4).
–
Put the flask (1) on the tray (7).
–
Insert the power plug into the mains socket.
Switch the coffee maker on by setting the
power switch (8) to the «I» position, the indi-
cator will light up and the coffee maker will
start operating.
–
After all water passes through the filter, switch
the coffee maker off, setting the power switch
(8) to the «0» position.
–
To keep the coffee hot, leave the flask (1)
on the tray (7) and do not switch the coffee
maker off with the power switch (8).
Attention!
•
If you don’t need to heat the flask (1) any
more, be sure to switch the coffee maker
off by setting the power switch (8) to the
«0» position.
•
Water passes through ground coffee
under steam pressure, so do not bend
over the coffee maker, do not open the lid
(4) and do not remove the filter holder (2).
•
The taste of the ready drink depends on
the quality of the raw products, that’s why
we recommend to use fresh-ground cof-
fee made of well-fried beans.
CLEANING AND CARE
–
Unplug the unit every time before cleaning.
–
Let the coffee maker cool down completely
and clean the outer surfaces of the unit body
with a soft slightly damp cloth, then wipe dry.
–
Use soft detergents to remove dirt; do not use
metal brushes and abrasive detergents.
–
Wash all removable parts with warm water and
neutral detergent, then rinse them, dry thor-
oughly and install back to their places.
–
Do not immerse the coffee maker into water
or other liquids.
–
Do not wash the unit in a dishwashing machine.
