Note that the first recharging of the batteries should be done when they
are fully depleted and requires more than 12 hours.
Charging the battery
1. Turn off the battery switch. ( Figure 11)
Remove the battery from the module.
2. Plug the charger’s power cord into an
outlet.
3. Uncoil the power supply cable and plug
it into the outlet. It is recommended to
charge the battery pack for 4-6 hours.
4. When the battery is fully charged, unplug
the power adapter plug from the outlet,
and then disconnect it from the charger.
a. Before using the drive for the first time, charge the battery for a minimum of 12 hours.
b. It is forbidden to use pliers or wires to directly connect the terminals of the battery
to charge it.
c. It is forbidden to use the drive while the battery is charging. Do not use non-standard
power sources (such as generators or inverters), even if their voltage and frequency
appear to meet requirements.
d. It is forbidden to trample, squeeze, bend, tug or bundle the power cord, especially
at the charging port.
e. Pay special attention that children and pets do not touch the power cord during
charging. When disconnecting the power cord, hold the plug and carefully pull it out.
f. To keep the long life of the battery, it should be completely discharged and then
proceed to recharge to maintain the correct cycle.
g. Be sure to check that the power supply is operational before use. After the second
and each subsequent discharge of the battery, the recommended charging time is
4-6 hours.
h. Be sure to charge the battery frequently. Fully charge the battery after each use of the
drive. If the battery is discharged for a long time, it may be permanently damaged.
i. If you use a battery with the wrong specification, voltage and capacity, the drive may
be damaged and may not achieve proper performance.
j. In case of a damaged or cracked battery, immediately place it in a plastic bag and
contact the distributor for further disposal instructions. The distributor is obliged to
provide the necessary information on the recommended recycling of the battery pack.
