Cleaning and user maintenance may not be performed by chil-
dren, unless they are older than 8 years of age and are super-
vised.

The device may not be used by people who are insensitive to
heat and may not be used by other vulnerable people who are
unable to react to overheating.
■
The device is not intended for use in hospitals.
■
Do not use the device if the cover is wet or damp. It must be
completely dry before you start using it.
■
No safety pins or other sharp or pointed objects must be at-
tached to the device or inserted into it.
■
The massaging heat wrap should not be switched on in a folded
condition. It must always be spread out prior to use to prevent
the build-up of heat.
■
Always check the device and accessories for damage or wear
before putting them into operation. It may only be used if it is
undamaged and does not display any signs of wear and tear.

Do not make any modi

cations to the device.
■
If the device or the mains adapter is damaged, they must be
replaced by the manufacturer, the customer service department
or a similarly quali
fi
ed person (e.g. specialist workshop) in order
to avoid any hazards.

The device is not designed to be operated with an external timer
or a separate remote control system.
■
The device must always be disconnected from the mains power
when left unattended and before cleaning it.
■
The massaging heat wrap should always be allowed to cool
down completely before it is folded up and / or stored away.
■
To ensure that the heating coils are not damaged, fold up the
massaging heat wrap loosely, do not press it together
fi
rmly or
bend it. Do not place any objects, animals or people on the fold-
ed massaging heat wrap.
