Firmware Update

Firmware updates for the TM-RX are available on request from:

[email protected]

Firmware update files are delivered with the file name “

update.bin

” It is important to retain this file

name otherwise the TM-RX will reject the file.

The

update.bin

file can be uploaded to the TM-RX using the

File Uploader

software application.

File Uploader

The File Uploader is a PC software application which supports firmware updates, GPS maps and

JSON configuration files to be uploaded to the TM-RX.

The File Uploader application can be downloaded from the following location:

https://www.visualengineering.co.uk/supportdownload/51

• Start the downloaded executable.

• Ensure the PC and TM-RX are on the same IP subnet. The IP address of the TM-RX can be found

by navigating to the Network parameter in the

Settings App

section.

• Enter the IP Address of the TM-RX into the File Uploader software.

• Browse to the file to be uploaded from the PC to the TM-RX and press the “Upload File” button.
