If you are adding video files, you will be shown a new window where you can select the type of media
you are adding
– music videos, films, or TV series- (Fig.5). On the right hand side you will see the
active servers where you can search for content. Select the automatic search option and the recursive
scan option so that the search can begin in the root folder and subfolders. Select OK and Visonos will
add the found content to your library.

When you first add new video content to the system a new menu
will show called “Movies”. This a
Visonos feature that lets the users distinguish between commercial films and homemade videos (there
are no Internet servers with homemade videos metadata). Anyhow, the user can choose to maintain
both menu options or to hide one of them. This can be done in the configuration menu, which can be
consulted in another chapter.
When you are adding music to your library, you do not need to go in the server selection window. Press
OK in the bottom of the window and the source will be added automatically and you can continue on to
the next step.
You now have Access to your source of files. Highlight the source and press the “Menu” button on your
remote control app or the C button in your keyboard or right click with your mouse. You will see a new
contextual menu with different options. (See Fig.6)
In movies the options are:

Take note that this menu appears when you add a new source. If you selected the automatic scan in
the previous step, you will not need to use this menu as Visonos will be searching for new content when
you add a new source.
