Main Display
This displays, at a glance, the summary current frequency selection and
demodulation parameters. The top line also displays the video format detected
by the decoder.
Frequency – allows the setting of the received frequency, displayed either as
direct L-Band (LO=0) or if an LO value set representing the LNB LO, then this
shows the satellite frequency.
Rate – This is the required symbol rate entry.
All other aspects of RF demodulation are automatic and the third line on the
display shows the received information.
Pressing the MENU key navigates to the main setup menus. Pressing MENU
again at any point returns to this display.

Setup Inputs
1.
From the startup screen, press menu key to navigate to TUNER.
2.
Press ENTER and then select SETUP INPUTS.
Choices here are:
Input select: Choose RF 1 or RF 2.
The following parameters can be set for each RF input.
Frequency, set the required receive frequency, displayed in MHz. If the
LO frequency is zero then this is the direct L-band frequency in the range
950 – 2150MHz.
Symbol Rate: set the required symbol rate.
LNB 1 (2) LO: Set the required local oscillator value of the LNB in use for
example 9750MHz.
LNB 1 (2) Mix: this can be changed if the LNB has a non-standard local
oscillator that inverts the spectrum.
LNB 1 (2) DC supply: this sets the voltage applied to the LNB and set
whether horizontal or vertical mode based on the voltage. Nominal
voltages are 13V or 18V. There is also a boost option for long cables,
which adds 1V to each output.
LNB 1 (2) 22KHz: this is used for some types of LNB that have band
switching based on the presence of the 22 KHz tone.
