5.11 Incline Motor Replacement – Continued
6) Remove the screw holding the incline motor to the carriage assembly (Figures F), and pull up on the carriage assembly to get it out of the way. (Figure
G).
7) Carefully remove the incline motor from the main frame. (Figures H).
NOTE:
Save the attachment hardware to
use with the new incline motor (Figure
I).

8) Reverse Steps 1- 7 to install a new Incline motor.
NOTE:
Make sure that the hardware is installed onto the incline motor in the same way it was
removed including the Teflon washers.
9) Test the Elliptical for function as outlined in Section 5.22.
