Modifying a Program

SOUND COLLECTION section

The

SOUND COLLECTION

menu includes all the configuration

parameters of the SOUND COLLECTION module (described at page

).

The SOUND COLLECTION module is comprised of two independent
parts, that can be recalled through the buttons [1] or [2] on the

main panel

.

The screen shows the selected part in the menu heading, represented by
the numbers [1] or [2], and the parameter values of the said part.
To access this menu, enter the

EDIT PROGRAM

screen (page

) place

the cursor on the

SOUND COLLECTION

field and press the data entry dial or, alternatively, hold down the sound

selection knob of the module for a while (point 4, page

).

Parameter name

Selected timbre type.

Main sound generation parameters of the selected sound. The three available parameters depend
on the selected sound, and are described below:



Attack Time:

sound attack time, i.e. the time it takes to reach the signal level peak after the key

is pressed.



Decay Time:

the time the sound takes to decay after the key has been pressed.



Release Time:

sound decay time after a key has been released.



Filter CutOff:

filter cutoff frequency, modifies the sound's brilliance.


