d) Changing the dome of the camera head (294040)
After several uses, scratches on the dome may disturb the field of view. 5 spare
domes and a tube of silicon are supplied in standard.
Before fitting the new dome, lubricate the threading with
silicon. When changing the dome, ensure it is screwed firmly
up to the last thread pitch.
Otherwise, sealing of the
camera head is not guaranteed and operation can be
disturbed by the penetration of water or dirt.
A set of 10 additional domes is proposed in the accessories (ref. 294043).
A dome protection cage is also available (ref. 294041).
d) Recommendations concerning the guidance accessories
Before use any accessories, you must make sure that the accessory enables the
camera head to be inserted and removed easily. In fact, depending on the
configuration, you must remember that the guidance mechanism may become
jammed or stuck in the tube, pipe or other system inspected.
