Transfer rate and module-ID
There is the possibility to specify
transfer rate
and
module-ID
by means of
the address selector.
The settings are permanently stored in an EEPROM and may any time be
changed. Per default the bus coupler has a transfer rate of 500kbit/s.
•
Turn off the power supply of the bus coupler
•
Set the address selector to 0.
•
Turn on the power supply of the bus coupler.
The LEDs SF, BA and IF are blinking. Now for each there is a period of
10s to select
transfer rate
and
module-ID
.
Note!
If the address selector is still 0 after 20s, the following values are set:
- Transfer rate: 1Mbit/s
- Module-ID: 0 (not valid)
To change these settings start with the "Proceeding" again.
As long as the LEDs SF, BA and IF are blinking, select the transfer rate
with the address selector. There are the following possibilities for setting:

After 10s the selected transfer rate is stored in the EEPROM and the IF
LED gets off.
