Bottom clamp
Adjust a bottom clamp as follows:
Tighten the clamp
until an audible click is heard and the knob is in the locked position
(Position 1).
Using a suitable instrument, such as a flat-bladed screwdriver, carefully remove the knob

Remove the retaining screw
, and pull off the clamp knob
.
Examine the shaft
. If there is an identifying groove

Replace the clamp knob
and turn it to Position 2.
Using a 2.5 mm hexagonal wrench, slacken the grubscrew
until the leg is free to move
under its own weight.
