•
Before connecting the appliance to the power source, let it stand upright for
approximately 2 hours. This will reduce the possibility of a malfunction in the cooling
system from handling during transportation.
•
Place your appliance on a surface that is strong enough to support the appliance when
it is fully loaded.
•
To level your appliance, adjust the front legs at the bottom of the appliance.
•
Ensure that the unit is installed with proper clearance for airflow of 10-12 inches on
each sides and 6 inches in the back.
•
The unit is designed for freestanding installation only. It is not designed to be installed
under a counter, inside a cabinet, or in any location that does not allow the proper
clearances on all sides, as stated above.
•
For freestanding installation only, away from direct sunlight and sources of heat (stove,
heater, radiator, etc.). Direct sunlight may affect the acrylic coating and heat sources
may increase electrical consumption.
•
Clean the interior surface with lukewarm water using a soft cloth.
NOTE:
Before using the wine cooler for the first time, the inside of the unit may emit an
odor that is due to the finish that is used on each of the slide out shelves. To eliminate the
odor, turn on the unit and allow it to run for approximately 24 hours.
OPERATING YOUR WINE CELLAR
•
It is recommended that you install the wine cellar in a place where the ambient
temperature is between 54-80°F.
•
If the ambient temperature is above or below the recommended temperature, the
performance of the unit may be affected.
•
Placing the unit in extreme cold or hot conditions may cause interior temperature to
fluctuate and the desired temperature range of 54-66°F may not be reached.
•
Not intended for installation in a garage or basement.
•
Leaving the interior light on for an extended period of time may affect the temperature
of the wine being stored.
•
Placement of bottles within the cooler on the upper, middle or lower shelves may
affect the temperature of the wine.
•
Temperature of your wine may fluctuate if the interior light is left on, and bottle
placement inside the cooler (upper, middle or lower storage shelves).
•
The interior temperature may fluctuate depending on whether or not the interior light
is on or off, or whether the bottles are located on the upper/middle or lower section.
Close the cooler door immediately after putting in any items so the inside temperature
will not rise dramatically.
How to use the buttons on the Display Panel:
You can set the temperature by pushing the control buttons.
There are two buttons on the panel “UP” and “DOWN” to adjust the temperature by 1°F
increments from 54-66°F. You can turn the interior light on or off by pressing the “light”
button.
