9 Web interface (Web UI)

The purpose of the Web UI is to provide a remote mechanism to configure the device. For most of the configuration

this is just an alternative to the display UI, but there are some options that can only be set from this interface since

they need to upload or download files that cannot be done from the UI.

The IP address of the device has to be known in order to connect to the device through a browser. Follow the

device

discovery

procedure and once the IP address is known, return to this section.

When connecting to the browser, it will warn about a security risk since the connection is encrypted, but its certificate

is self-signed, just as it happens with devices of this type such as home routers.

The following screenshots that show the warning may vary according to the browser, but the steps to follow and their

content is quite similar.

In the case of Firefox, enter the IP address in the URL bar:
