3. Operating modes
3.1 STANDARD mode
STANDARD mode
is the Default mode
of the interface. In this mode, the interface works with the IDs of Indoor
Stations from 1 to 4.
If the IDs of the system are not from 1 to 4 please refer to paragraph 5.9 for programming the dedicated ID.
Associating the first “main” home telephone (also see paragraph 5.11a)
If the interface is connected directly to the telephone line, from an external telephone we call the telephone number of
the line to which the interface is connected and wait for the three confirmation tones.
If the interface is connected to a switchboard, lift a handset and call the indoor station where the interface is
connected. Wait for the three short answer tones from the interface.
At this stage:
Enter the code
888 28 1
(1 is the ID of the indoor station) followed by the
telephone number
to re-route
the call to
Wait for the confirmation tone (after approx. 5”)
To associate a telephone to the second ID, enter the code
888 28 2
followed by the
telephone number
to
re-route the call to
Continue with the other associations
Note
: The telephone number can either be an external number or that of an indoor station.
To associate other “secondary” telephones, see paragraph 5.11b.
If an error is made or no confirmation tones are received during programming, simply recall the interface and resume
programming from the last code executed.
3.2 EXTENDED mode
In this mode, the IDs of the master devices must under all circumstances be programmed in sequence from 1 to 40.
In this mode, the interface automatically recognises all the IDs.
Programming the EXTENDED mode and associating a telephone
If the interface is connected directly to the telephone line, from an external telephone we call the telephone number of
the line to which the interface is connected and wait for the three confirmation tones.
If the interface is connected to a switchboard, lift a handset and call the indoor station where the interface is
connected. Wait for the three short answer tones from the interface.
At this stage, configure the interface in the extended mode:
Enter the code
888 78 1 1 4
to activate the ‘EXTENDED’ mode and wait for the confirmation tone
Associate a main telephone
To programme the telephone number associated with home 1 with ID1, type in code
888 30 01
‘telephone
number’
and wait 5” before listening to the confirmation tone
To programme the telephone number associated with home 2 with ID2, type in code
888 30 02 ‘telephone
number’
and wait 5” before listening to the confirmation tone
Continue with the other associations
N.B.
