Do not change the engine governor setting or over speed the engine.
Use extreme caution when reversing or pulling the lawnmower towards you.
Stop the blade(s) if the lawnmower has to be tilted for transportation when crossing surfaces other
than grass, and when transporting the lawnmower to and from the area to be mowed.
Disengage all blades and drive clutches before starting the engine.
Start the engine or switch on the motor carefully according to instructions and with feet well away
from the blade(s).
Do not tilt the lawnmower when starting the engine or switching on the motor, except if the
lawnmower has to be tilted for starting. In this case, do not tilt it more than absolutely necessary
and lift only the part which is away from the operator.
Do not start the engine when standing in front of the discharge chute.
Never pick up or carry a lawnmower while the engine is running.
Reduce the brake setting during engine shut down and, if engine is provided with a shut-off valve,
turn the fuel off at the conclusion of mowing. Go slow when using a trailing seat.
ASSEMBLY/PRE-OPERATION
Read these instruction and this manual in its entirety before you attempt to assemble to operate your
new lawnmower.
IMPORTANT
: The lawn mower is shipped
WITHOUT OIL OR GASOLINE
in the engine. Your new lawn
mower has been assembled and tested at the factory.
REMOVE LAWN MOWER FROM CARTON
Roll lawn mower out of carton and check carton thoroughly for additional loose parts.
INSTALL ATTACHMENTS
Your lawn mower was shipped ready to be used as rear bag mower.
SET UP YOUR MOWER
INPORTANT
: Unfold handle carefully so as not to pinch or
damage control cables.
1.Raise handles until lower handle section locks into place at
mowing position.
2.Remove protective padding, raise upper handle section into
place on lower handle and tighten both handle knobs.
3.Remove handle padding holding operator presence control
bar to upper handle
