To avoid risk of electrical shock, personal injury, or death, disconnect electrical power source to unit, unless test
procedures require power to be connected. Discharge capacitor through a resistor before attempting to service.
Ensure all ground wires are connected before certifying unit as repaired and/or operational.

To access to the blower motor and internal switches, remove the filters. FIG 4 shows two
trims that run the length of the hood, both front and rear, as well as the center support and
are held in place with six Phillips head screws. Remove all three supports.

The blower assembly consists of the motor and two squirrel cage blower wheels, one at
each end of the motor. The left side wheel is shown in FIG 5. FIG 6 shows the right side
blower wheel, along with the internal power and motor connections.
