Problem

Possible Cause and/or Remedy

Oven will not function.

Oven is not connected to electrical power.

Have electrician check power circuit breaker,
wiring and fuses..

Oven does not operate in
self-clean cycle.

Door is not shut tight enough for automatic
door latch to lock.

Oven is not clean after
self-clean cycle.

Temperature control knob not rotated all
the way past clean until it stops.

Broil does not work.

Temperature control knob is rotated too far
past broil position.

Door will not open.

Oven is still in self-clean mode. If oven is
hot, door latch will release when a safe
temperature is reached

Oven light will not work.

Light bulb is burned out.

Oven is not connected to power.
